We are grateful to Longmont Community Foundation for two recent grants. The community foundation granted $4,100 to support our Health Care Worker Emergency Relief Fund, which addresses our health care workers’ immediate needs related to unexpected child care costs, housing expenses and mental wellness as they care for the community during the pandemic.
Additionally, the community foundation provided a $7,500 grant to Longs Peak Hospital Foundation to support education for new fathers. The grant will pay for staff to receive training in a nationally recognized program called Boot Camp for New Dads. This workshop equips men with knowledge to confidently parent their new arrivals.
