Our community has been incredibly generous to Longs Peak Hospital during the pandemic. Community member and local artist Basia Christ shared her gratitude for our health care heroes in a unique way. She created an 18-inch-by-24-inch acrylic painting titled “We Pray” for Longs Peak Hospital.
“I thought this painting would be a nice way to show my appreciation for the wonderful service, care and compassion that I have received here,” says Christ. From the front-line staff to hospitality services to administration and more, Christ says the painting symbolizes her prayers for everyone affected by COVID-19.
