Teen vaping is a growing public health issue. One way you can fight it is to communicate candidly with the kids in your life about the risks involved with vaping. A free information fair at Longs Peak Hospital in January is offering resources and information to help.
- What: UCHealth Vaping Panel
- When: 6:30–8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28
- Where: UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital, Conference Room A and B, 1750 E. Ken Pratt Blvd., Longmont
- How: RSVP online. Program is free, but registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
The evening includes an interactive panel discussion with Longs Peak Hospital doctors and the Healthy Hearts program staff. Healthy Hearts is a UCHealth outreach program that comes to St. Vrain Valley schools to educate kids about healthy lifestyles, including the dangers of tobacco and vaping. Healthy Hearts is funded in part by donations given through Longs Peak Hospital Foundation.
