UCHealth’s Healthy Hearts and Minds is a community health outreach program dedicated to empowering students, adults, and families through positive lifestyle choices. We focus on school-age preventive health education, adult wellness, and family lifestyle intervention.
Healthy Hearts for Students
UCHealth’s school-based Healthy Hearts program provides free heart health education to elementary, middle, and high school students. Our mission is to inspire and empower students to:
- Live a heart-healthy lifestyle
- Prevent heart disease
- Recognize signs and symptoms of heart attack and stroke
- Learn lifesaving hands-only CPR and AED use
Support Healthy Hearts, Support the Future
Your gift can help create a healthier future for the next generation. Consider your impact in the St. Vrain Valley School District:
- $250 provides Healthy Hearts education for 17 students
- $2,500 supports the program in one school
- $10,000 expands the program to four schools, reaching 700 students
